Pine View Baptist Church

      The Youth Explosion is an outreach to try and reach teens and young adults that may be faced with drug addictions or the pressure to do drugs. This all started with a conversation between our youth minister and one of the leaders of the Addiction program. We work with the adults about addiction but we wanna reach the young people before they get too far into an addiction or start doing drugs. We don't just talk about drugs. We talk about all kinds of peer pressure that today's youth have to face. Some topics of conversation are drugs, alcohol, sex and bullying, just to name a few. We play games with the kids to give them time to fellowship and get to know the other people around. We also provide a meal for them. After the games and food, we have a live band there to sing and play. A speaker will then talk to the group about whatever the Lord leads them to talk about. We also give them a pamphlet with some important numbers on it. If you want somewhere to come that will help your children in a Christian way, Pine View is the place to be. We are not about raising our member numbers. We are here to help people in their walk with Christ.
